Blowing Leaves Baby Announcement
Special detailing on the font's shadow adds to the overall playfulness of this announcement
Modern Nautical Invitation Suite
This invitation suite is perfect for the modern coastal bride. Navy is always in style and by adding a pop of clover green with bold striping this invitation will make a statement your guests won't forget!
Custom Illustrated Map
The bride is a proud Cape Cod native and wanted to showcase the Cape in a completely custom illustration. The back of this map contains written directions on how to get to the Wedding venue.
Perforated RSVP Card
The bride's venue needs to know exactly what each guest will be eating at the reception. With very little space on the traditional RSVP card, I doubled the height of the card and perforated down the middle. The bottom half is the return card and the top half contains the available meal options on one side and a website reminder on the other.
Talavera Invitation Suite
These invitations are inspired by a beautiful ceramic style from the Puebla region in Mexico. The bright colors and bold shapes mixed with traditional design are sure to grab your guests' attention!
Talavera Suite Details
Inspired by the intricate designs of Mexican tile, this showcases the bold, yet delicate design featured with this suite.
Construction Birthday Party Invitations
This was designed for a young child's birthday. It has bold, primary colors and great simply shaped construction vehicles. I also made a coordinating fabric and gifted the Mom a special one-of-a-kind pillow.
Karen's children wanted to throw her a surprise birthday party, but they weren't sure how to incorporate her style without asking her what she would like. I asked a series of questions and got to know Karen without ever meeting her. I learned she had a classic style and liked warm, sunny days. I chose to use a brocade style sunflower print as the basis for the invite. When her kids showed her the invitations, she said they were perfect!
Boston Elegance Invitation
This bride was holding her wedding and reception at one of Boston's most acclaimed venues. Her invitations had to be equally as elegant. Ivory and navy set the tone, but the satin ribbon and envelope lining really made this the perfect introduction to their luxurious wedding.
Boston Elegance Invitation Suite
Adding the satin ribbon not only enhanced the elegance of this design, but served a purpose. The bride had many enclosure cards she didn't want getting lost at the bottom of the envelope. The satin ribbon of the front continued onto the back where we were able to use it to hold the other enclosures together.
Deconstructed Hydrangea Save-the-Date
When creating this invitation, I wanted to have a flow to the card with ample white space. I took the flower and deconstructed it to its most basic shape while still maintaining the image of a hydrangea. I used modern text alignment and a chocolate colored backing to really make this design memorable.
Deconstructed Hydrangea Invitation Suite
Maintaining the same look and feel as the save-the-dates, the Invitation suite carries on the theme that the bride and groom wanted to showcase throughout their special day.
Deconstructed Hydrangea Program
Detailing the special thanks and tribute page the bride and groom wanted to share with their guests.
Deconstructed Hydrangea Place Cards
When designing for a wedding, it's important to make sure each element will look good as a whole. This is the perfect example that.
Traditional Autumn Save-the-Date
This classic, simple, traditional save-the-date in burgundy is an Autumn Wedding staple all throughout the Northeast . Add a luxurious envelope liner and your guests will instantly get a feel for the vibe your wedding will have.
Traditional Autumn Invitation Suite
This traditional and rich invitation contains a delicate leaf vellum overlay as well as lined envelopes with a detailed RSVP reply card.
Traditional Autumn Extras
In addition to the invitation suite, this design included custom menus, programs, place cards and thank you notes
Traditional Autumn Program Interior
Inside of the Wedding Program for the Traditional Autumn Suite
After a recent trip to New Orleans, I was inspired to make this French inspired pattern. The bright teal color with traditional black and white adds a whimsical flair to this baroque invitation.
Fleur-de-lis Respondez s'il vous plait
I used elements of the invitation frame to separate the continuing pattern from the guest information portion of the RSVP card.
Moroccan Invitation Suite
In Morocco, zillij or Moroccan mosiacs, are used to make some of the most beautiful mosaics in the world. My design is strongly influenced by its geometry and use of stars and crosses.
Moroccan RSVP Card
Since the design is so strong on the main invitation, I wanted the RSVP to remain simple in its design. I included a single graphic from the zillij inspired pattern to continue the theme in each invitation element.
Sari Invitation Suite
Indian Sari (or Saree) patterns are highly detailed and incredibly unique. No two are alike, they are stunning and when draped around the body, become wearable pieces of art. I was inspired to make a pattern similar to what can be found on a sari. A bold lower edge design, with a repeating pattern in the center finishing up with an intricate border. The beauty of this style of pattern is that it can be represented by almost any combination of colors.
Golden Winter Wedding
The bride's bouquet featured baby's breath as the main focal point and she wanted the invitation to reflect this often understated flower. I wanted to make sure that the invitation reflected the winter season, so I had the petals fall off the branches as if they were snowing down over the words.
Golden Winter Wedding Accommodations
The bride and groom had specific influences in their color choices. The gold tones come from warm firelight and the brown hues are inspired by the couple's love of a comforting cup of coffee. Knowing the influence of coffee on their theme, I made the font flow and the swashes extend like steam from a fresh cup. I enhanced this idea by placing the main copy on a diagonal to make it seem as if the words were rising from the paper.
Autumn Leaf Invitation
The use of embellishments on this invitation shows how they can add an air of complexity that enhances this fall design.
Autumn Leaf Invitation Suite
The bride embellished the main invitation, but she wanted to keep the remaining elements uncomplicated and traditional. I included an illustrated version of the leaf throughout the suite, but it's most prominent in the place cards.
Instead of having a traditional baby announcement, Alexi's Mom wanted to have a celebration where friends and family would gather and celebrate her homecoming! Alexi's Mom was so inspired by her crib bedding, we had to include the adorable creatures and patterns found there.
Lauren's Turtle Shower Invitations
When Lauren found out she was having a boy, she didn't want the traditional color of blue anywhere in his nursery. Green was the color of choice and knowing her love of turtles, I made sure that Lauren had a shower invitation that she could keep as a memento of such a special time in her life.
